Biography

Lynn Gaertner-Johnston has helped thousands of employees and managers improve their business writing skills. She has worked with executives, engineers, administrative professionals, and others in more than 100 companies and organizations, teaching them to get their messages across clearly, concisely, and correctly.

Lynn has been quoted on business writing etiquette in The Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair, Atlantic, Vogue, and other media. Her book, Business Writing With Heart: How to Build Great Work Relationships One Message at a Time, won two Benjamin Franklin awards from the Independent Book Publishers Association.

She lives in Seattle, Washington, with Katy, an English springer spaniel, and a couple of human beings.
